The QC Manager at Dekalb Trade Voice will oversee the entire quality control process for gloves, safety apparel, and accessories, ensuring conformance to product specifications and international quality standards. The role is responsible for monitoring quality at each stage of production—from incoming materials to final finished goods—and implementing continuous improvement systems such as ISO 9001:2015 and Lean Six Sigma. The QC Manager will also lead the deployment of the Traffic Light Quality System in Inline QC to reduce defect rates and improve first-time pass quality.
Key Responsibilities: Quality System Management
Develop and implement SOPs for all QC checkpoints.
Ensure all inspections follow AQL standards and company-specific quality benchmarks.
Monitor and continuously improve the Traffic Light Quality System in stitching lines.
Prepare and implement quality risk assessments and CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action) reports.
Align quality systems with ISO 9001:2015 and buyer-specific protocols.
People & Process Supervision
Lead and guide QC Inspectors for CPI, Embroidery/Print, Inline, End Line, and Final QC.
Assign manpower and resources as per production needs and shipment priorities.
Train team members on defect identification, measurement standards, and handling techniques.
Ensure discipline, hygiene, and compliance in the QC department.
Inspection & Reporting
Analyze DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) and implement reduction strategies.
Maintain QC documentation: inspection logs, audit reports, defect trend charts.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to management.
Coordinate with Production, IE, and Packing departments for issue resolution and workflow alignment.
