Conduct market analysis for business growth in target segments of respective region under his/her control.
Identify business opportunities and facilitate Area Managers / Branch Managers in preparing business strategy to capture market.
Set realistic business targets in sale of Deposit products preferably rack rates.
Achieve the set target for business growth in deposit products assigned to the areas / branches and Booths on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
Guide Area/Branch/Relationship Managers in terms of customers, deposit mobilization, selling right products for business growth and Bancassurance.
Ensure that region deposit portfolio grows within the set benchmark for the month/quarter/year in terms of product mix, numbers and cost of funds.
Ensure effective sales management by conducting joint visits/cross verification of Area/Branch Managers and other deposit mobilization staff.
Ensure that NTB customers are accepted into depository relationship with due diligence / AML/ CFT and other regulatory parameters.
Maximize revenue generation, contain service delivery cost and ensure Region/areas profitability through sustainable business growth, controlled expense management against allocated budgets and high quality of portfolio management.
Ensure enforcement of internal control, and reporting as per MMBL’s policies and State Bank of Pakistan’s regulations.
Will represent the Bank in dealings with the government, State Bank of Pakistan (provincial offices) and the corporate sector.
Encourage growth of Deposit mobilization staff through training and development.
Ensure sufficient back up for business continuity and headcount replacement due to high performing high turnover environment.
Conduct regular training sessions for Region/Area, Deposit mobilization staff and Relationship managers.
Ensure all financial/non-financial objectives set for the year are closely monitored and reported as per schedule.
Implement corrective measures where required.
Ensure regular field visits and meet valued and prospect customers for business growth, feedback and to meet own personal deposit targets.
Seek strategic partnerships for Payment/Collection arrangements with corporate sector with ultimate goal of deposit mobilization at affordable costs.
Ensure customer engagement activities / road shows / market storming in the Region on regular intervals.
