Job Description (Total Position: 1)

LPG OPERATIONS HANDLING

  • Mainly responsible for the day to day commercial operations of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas at Storage and Bottling Plants through close coordination with the plant supervisors. 
  • Manage and generate Daily LPG Sale Report through the system generated software for the sales conducted on the previous day and share it with the concerned reporting lines staff members.
  • Adhere to the Delivery Advice received to ensure and maintain timely delivery of orders pertaining to each segment (domestic, commercial and industrial).
  • Manage and monitor the delivery lines (Delivery Note)  to ensure the top quality delivery at the right time in safety conditions and suggest corrective measures if necessary
  • Reconciling Daily sales, stocks and receipts of cylinders with the other departments.
  • To conduct physical stock take & Petty Cash check on monthly basis as and when assigned.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance safety and productivity.
  • Manage and lead a team of operators, providing training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on system improvements and maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reports on operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental policies.
  • Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

LPG RECEIPT AND STORAGE IN TANKS

  • Supervise LPG receipt through the bowser, ensure through operating staff for the tanker calibration and conduct weighing of tanker before custody transfer and assure quality and quantity assessment
  • Monitor the weigh bridge operation during vehicle in/out movement.
  • Plan the workforce as per Sale requirement.
  • Supervise LPG receipt, storage and transferring operations. Ensure the LPG receipt via weight and dip.
  • LPG Receipt through bowser, ensuring tanker calibration and conducting weighing of the tanker before custody transfer and assuring quality and quantity assessment
  • Supervise the lineup the LPG tanks and segregate during bowser receipt and cylinder filling.
  • Monitoring the gauging of Tanks and Recordings through the datasheet.
  • Monitor the plant supervisor who has activated the vapor line during LPG storage and transferring activity.
  • Monitor and ensure through the plant supervisor has activated the minimum return lines alive from pump to the LPG tanks and filling platform to LPG tanks.

LPG BOTTLING IN CYLINDERS

  • Plan the workforce as per sale plan.
  • Monitor the LPG bottling activities through safe operations.  
  • Monitoring of loading of filled cylinder in trucks as per dispatch schedule. Manage the new cylinders from Store as per sale demand
  • Randomly checks the filled cylinder weight with certified weighing scale on platform.
  • Ensure proper stacking of LPG filled, empty, or leaky cylinders.
  • Monitor and ensure the leaky cylinder decantation pump operation efficiently.
  • Share report with the Sales and marketing team and HOD for the fake cylinder received.
  • Monitor physical fitness of each cylinder.

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain procurement history and up-to-date procurement status
  • Prepare Service Requisitions, containing short term and long-term service contracts with the company’s contractors and third parties for cylinder filling.
  • Evaluation of inventory Material through Inspection. Spare for Filling Machines, Cylinder Valves Seal, and O rings.
  • Comparative Statement of Bids/ Quotes as well as Technical Bid analysis
  • Inventory management through raising requisitions for cylinders etc.
  • Ensure Inventory control of valves, spares and consumables. Ensure Inventory control of all related chemicals and consumables.

PLANTS PERFORMANCE AND OPTIMIZATION

  • Take part in all health, safety, and environmental programs to avoid any Human and Property loss.
  • Minimize operational production downtime.
  • Planning and execution of hot and cold jobs.
  • Monitor the execution of planned and emergency shutdowns with their safe execution and start up.
  • Ensure LPG RVP, gravity residue to Standards parameters. Emergency handling of plant operations.
  • Advice /coordinate for maintenance of leaky lines, equipment malfunctions
  • Monitor and check all associated equipment for malfunctions, damage or signs of wear and advise/coordinate for maintenance.

POLICY COMPLIANCE

  • Issuing, updating, and adhering to SOPs.
  • Compliance to Regulatory and Statutory policies as advised by the Legal and Administration departments.
  • Compliance to the Company’s internal policies, including HSE, overtime, vehicle movement/mileage.

PROJECT EVALUATION

  • Team player inthe  Preparation of feasibility/economics of projects

REPORTING AND CORRESPONDENCE

  • Maintain records / report Log sheets of the field vehicle.
  • Documentations as per third third-party requirement. Compilation of the daily facility log book.
  • Compilation of all daily parameters of equipment.
  • Data Entry in Software
  • Office documentation and compilation of PTWs issued at the plant area.
  • Record of running and standby hours of the equipment.
  • Maintain daily plant log books/parameters of equipment

STAFF MANAGEMENT 

  • Define, Prepare and Summarize Staff Functions and Tasks
  • Staff Record Keeping: maintaining data for staff joining, exodus, current status, shortage/requirement, leaves and rotational record

SOURCING & LOGISTICS

  • Managing timely supplies of LPG product based on prevailing demand with the coordination of suppliers/sourcing department and the delivery of products through the logistics department.

COORDINATION WITH ENGINEERING DEPT., DEALERS & RETAIL FOCAL PERSONS

  • Coordination with business clients, management staff & Engineering for the swift operation of the storage and bottling plant.
  • Coordination with Retail Development (LPG) focal persons and dealers for fulfillment of documents for efficient delivery of product, contractual obligations.
  • Coordination with Engineering & Maintenance Department for troubleshooting of LPG  Storage and Bottling Plants
